AIIMS BHOPAL

The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, GOI under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY), established the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhopal (AIIMS Bhopal) in Madhya Pradesh. The institute is one of the apex healthcare institutes established by the government and has an AAA+ rating under India’s 100 Best Medical Universities category 2018 by Careers  360 magazine.The best part of the Research facilities at AIIMS Bhopal is that undergraduate students are given an opportunity to work on research with the guidance of a senior faculty. This enables the UG students to hone their critical thinking skills & push their academic knowledge envelope. In addition, it helps students to explore research techniques, which additionally empowers them with team spirit , helps them identify their career interests and aid their time management skills.

Undergraduate research at AIIMS Bhopal has been supported by intramural funding and short-term studentships (STS) of ICMR. In fact, 25 AIIMS Bhopal undergraduates have bagged the prestigious STS fellowships since 2012 and have won accolades in platform and poster presentations in various national and international conferences.  

AIIMS Bhopal also has a Nursing College within its campus, which was established in 2013 under PMSSY with all necessary facilities.
