Chemistry is a sub discipline of science that deals with the study of matter and the substances that constitute it. It also deals with the properties of these substances and the reactions undergone by them to form new substances. Chemistry primarily focuses on atoms, ions, and molecules which, in turn, make up elements and compounds. These chemical species tend to interact with each other through chemical bonds. It is important to note that the interactions between matter and energy are also studied in the field of chemistry.
Chemistry is a subject which is totally based on student’s observations and understanding. Usually, the questions asked in the chemistry section are direct but a deep coverage of a lot of topics is must! There are three branches of chemistry : physical chemistry, inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry.Questions are asked from all these parts and therefore students should be familiar with all the concepts from the same.
The study of chemistry spans the range from qualitative in focus to quantitative. Chemicals are everywhere and are everything. Anything you can touch or smell or see contains one or more chemicals. It’s an experimental subject. Students have to observe things in order to understand the chemistry behind it. The key to score good in chemistry is your observations and understanding.
