E-Learning: Regular Jee-12 Chemistry

Students will have complete access to all classroom recorded lectures. Digital Classroom study material is provided to the students who opt for this course. Students can appear for online test series to strengthen their subject. And Comprehensive monthly progress report is provided to every student for self analysis.

Online learning takes place in a virtual classroom, but the skills used to succeed in it are very similar to those needed for an on-campus class. Questions about assignments or any part of the class should be directed to the faculty or teaching assistant by phone. Extra classes are arranged especially for doubt sessions.

You should plan to spend at least 5-6 hours in your virtual classroom.

Homework, tests, paper assignments, and more will be clearly communicated on the class website as well as directly by the professor.

In JEE Main the chemistry section is easy and most scoring. Questions are direct. Candidates can prepare well using the NCERT books and most of the time it is enough for JEE preparation. They just need to develop a thorough understanding of the concepts and have a good memory in remembering the formulas, symbols and reactions.

Generally, NCERT Exemplars these are basically practice-books which contain questions of a higher level that further help in-depth learning. Aspirants can make use of the exemplars to develop better problem-solving skills.

The majority of questions are asked from this section. Candidates should have a good understanding of the concepts in organic chemistry. However, other parts like inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry are equally important. Students should have a good knowledge of all the parts. Sometimes the concepts are interrelated in chemistry.

Being regular with the preparation is one of the most important aspects of studying for Chemistry for JEE Main. As the subject is quite vast and hugely theoretical, students will have to study for it regularly so as to keep the flow. It is only by giving time to the subject on a regular basis that a student can memorise all the topics.

Setting aside some time for the revision of topics that have been covered is also among the most essential aspects of preparing for JEE Main Chemistry. As the subject is quite theoretical, students will need to keep going back to the chapters they have finished so that they remain fresh in memory and the students are well versed with them.

Studying from several books is not recommended for JEE Main Chemistry. All candidates should stick to some good books and use them for their preparation. Referring to different books results in wastage of time in trying to understand the language and also builds incoherence. Students often get confused when they use books of different authors to study or practise as different techniques might be used in them.

Memorising certain parts of the subject like the Periodic Table, Atomic Weights, Atomic Symbols, Atomic Numbers, etc.is necessary while preparing for the Chemistry section. This saves a lot of time while writing the exam and increases the scope of scoring significantly. A major part of Chemistry needs to be memorised like certain reactions and bonds. This will help the candidate score more while also saving time.

Once the aspirant has started with preparation in a full-fledged way, he/ she must check the accuracy of his/ her answers and incorporate ways to improve in this area. Apart from this, the candidates must also try to increase their speed as the importance of time in the JEE Main exam is important. Solving certain questions in less time will give the student an opportunity to use that time in the sections of Physics and Mathematics and also in reviewing the answers after the completion of the paper.

When preparing for any exam, practising old question papers and doing mock tests is undoubtedly one of the most important parts. Practising helps the student in realising which areas he/ she has to focus on and how he/ she should approach a question. It is always better to have an understanding of the type of questions that are asked in the exam so that the student is mentally prepared and knows how to go about the questions. Therefore, practising old papers regularly is an extremely important step while preparing for JEE Main Chemistry in order to score well.
