Established in 2016 in Chhattisgarh by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai (IIT Bhilai) aims to provide a conducive environment for technological and cultural studies. The institute also focuses on preparing the youth to become professional leaders of tomorrow by teaching them cutting-edge technical skills and knowledge so that they can take on real-life challenges with confidence and maturity. IIT Bhilai offers a research-driven undergraduate and postgraduate education for its students. Bachelors of Technology (BTech), Masters of Technology (MTech) and Doctoral programs (Ph.D.) are offered in various departments. One of the key objectives for teaching all these courses is to create an educational system which emphasizes on research, responsible citizenship, entrepreneurship, and technical leadership.
