Indian Institute of Technology, Dharwad

IIT Dharwad is an autonomous premier engineering institute of the country. IIT Dharwad was established in 2016 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. At present, the Indian Institute of Technology is under the mentorship of IIT Bombay. The first batch of IIT Dharwad B.Tech students will pass out in the academic year 2020. The current intake of the students at IIT Dharwad is 40 students. The prime motto of IIT Dharwad is to provide students a balance of academic and practical knowledge to enhance their industry skills and employability. IIT Dharwad is working on its industrial collaboration and pacts which will help the faculty and students of the institute to bag relevant opportunities and internships. Within the few years of its establishment, IIT Dharwad has made a place for itself in offering quality education in the field of science and technology.

PLACEMENTS

IIT Dharwad has recently come up with a placement cell to impart training to the students for job interviews and for campus recruitment. The IIT Dharwad placement cell organizes weekly training sessions which help students write cover letters, resumes etc. The placement cell at IIT Dharwad also conducts personality development and communication classes for the students to make them job ready.
