Indian Institute of Technology Goa is one of the premier engineering institutes of the country. It has been functional since 2016 from a temporary campus of Goa Engineering College which is located in Farmagudi, Goa. The permanent campus of IIT-Goa is still under construction in the Cortalim Village of Goa. The vision of the IIT Goa is to become a unique institute for higher learning while offering state of the art education, research, and training in science and technology to have an impact on society, environment, and global challenges. IIT Goa offers various B.Tech and M.Tech courses. Apart from these, it also offers a Ph.D. course in various disciplines. IIT Goa UG and PG admissions are strictly on the basis of candidates’ performance. Along with the academic growth of the students, IIT Goa also ensures the student’s comprehensive growth.

PLACEMENTS

Indian Institute of Technology Goa has a placement cell which offers training to students for future placements. IIT Goa has a well-established placement cell where they arrange special grooming sessions to the students to improve their communication skills, physical grooming, presentation qualities, corporate dressing, etc. The institute also carries out mock interviews to prepare the students for their final placement. The institute also arranges various placement drives and events at the campus for the student to gain some industrial knowledge. Apart from this well known domestic and international companies also visit the IIT Goa campus for placements.
