The Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur) is one of the eight new Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India, in 2008. The Institute conducts its academic activities through 11 Departments. IIT Jodhpur offers various specializations under BTech, MTech, MSc, MBA and PhD courses.

PLACEMENTS
IIT Jodhpur broke all its records by achieving 100% placements in CSE branch in 2019-20 campus drive. The placement percentage of ME branch, however, remained at 84%, which was the same last year (2018-19). EE branch, on the other hand, has seen consistent growth over the past three years. A substantial jump of over 20% was observed in 2018-19 placements, and this year, again there is a rise of nearly 10%.The college’s CDC works actively and delicately to place its students with top companies such as Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, TCS, Barclays, Amazon, etc
