NEET 2021: When and How should NTA conduct NEET 2021?

NEET 2021 exam dates have not been announced as yet. While the decision on how and when to conduct the exam is still awaited – here’s an article based on common opinions about when and how should NTA conduct NEET 2021.

Lakhs of students are eagerly waiting for the dates of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test,NEET 2021. While the Ministry of Education and NTA have not announced the dates for the Exam, many experts and students are raising concern over delayed dates and notifications. 

Considering the schedules announced for various board examinations by MoE, some experts are hoping for the dates to be announced by the end of February and exams to be conducted in July 2021. Additionally, experts pointed out that in case MoE gives the nod to conduct the exam twice, it may be possible that the exam could be conducted in June and then late July or even in August. Another prediction is that NEET exam will be conducted once before Board Exams and once after Board exams. Although we can’t say anything surely till any official declaration from MoE.

Now the question comes: how should NEET be conducted? Many have opinionated that NEET 2021 should be conducted online considering the present situation of Covid-19. Also, there will be an assurance of quicker results by conducting the exams online and online exams will be helpful for conducting it twice.

As per the latest updates, the Ministry of Health was considering the request of MoE and NTA to conduct the medical entrance examination more than twice, but no decision has been taken yet! All we can do is to hope for the best and make our preparations more stronger till the dates are announced !
