NIT Tiruchirappalli

National Institute of Technology Trichy (NITT) is situated in Tiruchirappalli division of Tamilnadu. It was established as a joint venture of the Govt. of Tamil Nadu and Govt. of India in 1964. NIT Trichy was formerly known as the Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli. With the approval of the Government of India, NITT was granted Deemed University Status in 2003. NITT was ranked 11 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework in 2018.

To fulfil the job requirement of every student, it organizes on-campus placement programmes. The cell helps each student in analyzing and then choosing the company of her/his interest. Every year, approx 220 companies participate in the placement process of NITT. The average salary package that the students of NITT receive is from Rs. 6  lakh onwards.
