STATE LEVEL EXAM FOR ENGINEERING

Engineering is a most sought career in India. Lakhs of candidates participate in various engineering exams every year. The exams are conducted every year at the National, State and University level. Through these exams, candidates can get admission in the prestigious Colleges and Universities of India. Here’s an article about some state level engineering exams.

1. Gujarat Common Entrance Test is conducted every year. The exam level for GUJCET is State Level. The courses will be offered by the government and non-government institutions in only the Gujarat state. GUJCET 2021 or Gujarat Common Entrance Test will be conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The type of questions will be in the form of MCQ. GUJCET question paper consists of a total of 120 MCQ’S. Time allotted for the aspirants to answer all the questions is 3 hours. If you qualify the exam, the candidates will be provided admission to Engineering & Technology (BE/B.Tech) and Pharmacy (degree/diploma) courses. 

Talking about the date of online application submission, there is no official announcement from GSEB.Although, considering the dates of GUJCET 2018,2019 and 2020, we can say that form filling may start at the end of March or beginning of April. We will surely inform you about the dates as soon as the official announcement is made.

2. MP PET is a known Madhya Pradesh Pre Engineering Test. There are immense government and private institutions which are affiliated with the entrance test. Those who score well in the test will seek admission to various government and private institutions situated in Madhya Pradesh. MPPEB or Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board is the exam conducting authority that manages school every year.

Talking about the date of online application submission, there is no official announcement from MPPEB. Predictions are that the online application submission will start from Mid March. We will surely inform you about the dates as soon as the official announcement is made.

3. MHT CET 2021 admission process will be started soon. CET is a State level entrance exam conducted once a year. The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test will be held for admission of Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmacy & Management courses. No official announcement is made yet. We will surely inform you as soon as the announcement is made.
4. UPSEE:Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination conducted by Dr. A. P. J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).  As per the AKTU authority, the UPSEE exam from the year 2021 has been scrapped for B.Tech admissions. Admissions into B.Tech will be provided based on JEE Main scores.
5. REAP 2021 will get started from the second week of May 2021. Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process (REAP) is organized every year by Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota. This is a state level admission procedure through which admission will be offered to the qualifying candidates in B.E. / B.Tech/ B.Arch. courses. Students will be provided admission based on JEE Main/ NATA Scores or 12th level scores. No separate entrance test will be conducted to provide admission.
6. KEAM 2021 or Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical exam is a State Level Examination organized by Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala run by the Government of Kerala. KEAM 2021 notification will be released by CEE on its official website by the first week of February 2021. This exam is organized to offer admission in UG Engineering and Pharmacy courses. There are multiple courses offered by the State-run colleges in Kerala that come under the KEAM 2021 Examination. 
7. COMEDK UGET 2021 will be conducted on 20 June 2021 by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka which is an autonomous committee which organizes this UGET examination to offer Undergraduate courses in multiple fields of Medical, Engineering and Dental sciences in around 16 Medical, 24 Dental and 190 Engineering Colleges. The entrance exam is going to be held on 20 June 2021.
8. Haryana B.Tech Admission 2021 will be started from the month of May 2021.There are many government and private engineering colleges located in this state which offers quality education to the B.Tech students. For admission in B.Tech course, candidates can apply through the entrance exam or through the merit list of the qualifying exam. Separate merit list or cut-off will be released by various colleges for providing admission. On the basis of merit, students can appear for the counselling fee. During counselling, candidates have to pay the counselling fee and fill their preferences.

On the basis of filled choices, rank & seat availability, seats will be allotted to candidates. For admission in NIT, candidates have to participate in the JoSAA counselling.

9. DUET 2021 will be conducted in June 2021 tentatively. DUET 2021 is the National Level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). DUET is conducted to offer admission in various colleges of Delhi University. Delhi University offers admission to Undergraduate, Postgraduate & MPhil/Ph.D. courses in the fields like Engineering, Arts, Commerce, Law, Management, Science, etc. DUET exam is an online (Computer-Based Test) exam. The exam for PG courses is conducted once every year whereas, for UG courses, candidates can apply based on the merit of the qualifying degree.
